ArrangedToBe ("we", "us", or "our") is a wedding planning application available at arrangedtobe.com. We provide tools to help couples and their teams manage guests, RSVPs, timelines, budgets, vendors, seating charts, and more. We collect the following types of information: Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and any display name you choose to provide. Event & Planning Data: Information you enter into the app, including event names, wedding dates, venues, guest names and email addresses, RSVP responses, budget figures, vendor details, and timeline entries. This data belongs to you. Usage Data: We may collect basic information about how you use the app, such as pages visited and features used, to help us improve the service. Communications: If you contact us by email, we retain that correspondence.

We use the information we collect to: - Provide, operate, and maintain the ArrangedToBe service - Allow you to invite team members and collaborate on your event - Send RSVP invitations to your guests on your behalf - Send transactional emails such as team invitations and account notifications (via Resend) - Improve and develop new features - Respond to your support requests - Display advertisements to free-tier users (via Google AdSense) We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

When you add guests to your event, you are providing us with their names and, optionally, their email addresses. This data is used solely to facilitate RSVP management for your event. Guest email addresses are used only to send RSVP invitations when you explicitly trigger that action. We do not market to your guests or share their data with third parties beyond what is necessary to deliver the service.

We use the following third-party services to operate ArrangedToBe: Supabase (supabase.com): Our database and authentication provider. Your account credentials and all event data are stored securely on Supabase infrastructure. See their privacy policy at supabase.com/privacy. Resend (resend.com): Used to send transactional emails such as team invitations and RSVP links. Email addresses used for sending are processed by Resend. See their privacy policy at resend.com/legal/privacy-policy. Google AdSense (google.com): Used to display advertisements to free-tier users. Google may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your browsing activity. See Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy. Vercel (vercel.com): Our hosting provider. See their privacy policy at vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy. These services have their own privacy policies and we encourage you to review them.

We use cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes: Authentication: To keep you logged in to your account. Preferences: To remember your settings such as theme and active event. Advertising: Google AdSense may set cookies to serve personalised advertisements based on your interests. You can opt out of personalised ads by visiting Google's Ad Settings at adssettings.google.com. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect the functionality of the app.

We retain your account and event data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data and event data will be removed from our systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Guest data (names and email addresses you have added) will also be deleted when you delete the associated event or your account.

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data: - Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you. - Correction: Request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete data. - Deletion: Request that we delete your personal data. - Portability: Request your data in a portable format. - Objection: Object to certain uses of your data, including targeted advertising. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. All data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored in secured, access-controlled databases provided by Supabase. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

ArrangedToBe is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately at arrangedtobe@gmail.com and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If changes are significant, we will notify you by email or by a notice within the app. Your continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
